Charging infrastructure for tourist regions and mountain railroads

According to trend research, guests continue to prefer destinations or hotels with e-bike infrastructure. What must not be missing in the marketing concept this summer!

At the latest after the current winter season has been running for a few weeks, the region's marketing experts and tourism experts start thinking about the coming summer season. What is the estimated budget? Are new investments planned and what does trend research predict for the coming months? These are all questions that should be included in the creation of a successful marketing concept. According to current tourism studies, the answers are clear: summer guests will continue to prefer tourist regions that have a functioning e-infrastructure. This is because the trend toward environmentally friendly vacations will continue to set the tone.

Wide range

The average summer guest is no longer satisfied with good service and fine food, a beautiful hotel complex with pool and garden. Guests want to be able to choose from a wide range of activities and not have to worry about the necessary sports equipment during their vacation. So anyone who has e-bikes including charging stations on offer can look forward to new potential summer guests. These, in turn, welcome the expanded action area and are happy to pay a few euros more per stay for it. But this is not the only reason why e-bikes and charging stations have proven to be economic drivers. In addition, more and more people are spending their vacations at home. Some want to save costs, others want to support their own country, and still others have no desire for unrest in faraway lands. Last but not least, the number of vacationers who like to travel in an environmentally friendly way is increasing.

In summary: Investing in the hotel's own e-bike rental or a good charging infrastructure in the tourist resort is an investment in the future. Through the increased mobility and the expanded offer, a whole new target group and potential new guests can be found.
