How do we imagine bike-energy a successful tourism project? A well-known tourism region approaches us and invests in a comprehensive e-charging infrastructure. And why is the region doing this? Because it has recognized the great potential in the e-bike scene and in the expansion of charging infrastructure. Just like Zell am See-Kaprun, one of the most renowned tourism regions in Austria.
By e-bike to the glacier, mountain and lake
Guests of Zell am See-Kaprun experience in the future. The region is not only internationally renowned, it is also hard to beat in terms of natural beauty. Zell am See-Kaprun has always had sporting ambitions, and even as a European sports region, tourist highlights have been set between Zell am See and Kaprun. With the triumvirate of GLETSCHER (Kitzsteinhorn), BERG (Schmittenhöhe) and SEE (Lake Zell) provide a tourist and sporting playground that is unparalleled in Austria and abroad.
Climate and energy Tourism focus region
The local authorities have understood that this natural area needs to be protected. The region recently became the first KEM Tourism focus region of Austria excellent. The program is based on a comprehensive package of local climate protection measures. Here comes bike-energy MOBILITY is the focus of the KEM - the development of an e-bike region is one aspect. Charging stations, service, rental and detailed information about routes and routes for guests and locals are included.
15 charging stations at the most important points
Still delivering for this 2021 summer season bike-energy around 15 charging stations in the beautiful region in the SalzburgerLand. In future, both guests and locals will be able to charge their e-bikes at all key points in the region. The focus of E-Bike Mobility is not solely on the guest or the sporting/tourist experience. The region wants to set the tone and provide a sophisticated e-bike charging infrastructure as well as rental and service stations. Alternatives to car traffic create.
Mobility in the region is becoming more innovative, intuitive and environmentally friendly, and car traffic is to be reduced. This endeavor fits perfectly with the guiding principles and business model of bike-energy. For this reason, it was only a matter of time before Zell am See-Kaprun and bike-energy find their way to each other.
