Why we developed CONNECT
In recent years, technical diversity in the e-bike sector has grown significantly. An increasing number of battery systems, manufacturer-specific safety features, and communication protocols place high demands on charging infrastructure.
We have increasingly encountered the problem that new e-bike systems require secure communication between the battery and charger. In order to reliably support these new systems, a manual charger update has always been necessary—a process that takes time and can complicate operations.
CONNECT solves precisely this problem: OTA (over-the-air) updates will enable us to deploy new systems quickly and easily in the future. This means that charging stations will always be technically up to date and immediately compatible with the latest battery technologies—without any on-site intervention.
